BIOGRAPHY
Anna is Senior Associate at oikon LAW, Specialist in International Commercial Law, Legal Advisor at the World Bank in Washington D. C. and is the trusted lawyer of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Munich for mor than 15 years.
Her area of competence are International Commercial Law and Contract Law.

Anna studied law in Munich, Germany and Sofia, Bulgaria. She has been a registered lawyer in both countries since 2011, and a specialist in International Commercial Law since 2016. She specialises in cross-border contract drafting and litigation. With 15 years of experience in drafting international commercial and sales contracts, cross-border structuring and company formation, as well as international tax law, Anna brings a unique expertise to complex commercial law issues.
In 2024, Anna completed her PhD on the topic “Protection against Insider Trading. A Comparative Analysis between German and Bulgarian Law” with distinction. Her PhD research underlines her deep academic understanding of International Commercial Law and Capital Markets Law issues.
Since 2018, she advises the World Bank in Washington D.C. on issues of international Civil Law and Civil Procedure. She is also an author for the renowned legal database Juris GmbH – International Commercial Law Committee under the direction of Prof. Dr. Staudinger.
In 2011, Anna was appointed as a trusted lawyer of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Munich. Since then, she advises the Bulgarian Consular and Diplomatic Service on various issues of German, Bulgarian and International Commercial Law. She is known for her comprehensive expertise and practical approach.
