Anna Tönies-Bambalska

Anna is a lawyer, Legal Advisor at the World Bank in Washington D. C. and has been a trusted lawyer of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Munich for 15 years.
Her practice focuses on international commercial law and contract law.

Anna studied law in Munich, Germany and in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has been admitted to the bar in both countries since 2011 and has been a specialist lawyer for international commercial law since 2016. Her particular focus is on cross-border contract drafting and litigation. Since 2018, she has been advising the World Bank in Washington D.C. on individual questions of German civil law. She is also an author for the renowned legal database Juris GmbH – International Business Law Committee under the direction of Prof. Dr. Staudinger.

In 2011, Anna was appointed as a trusted lawyer of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Munich. Since then she has been advising the Bulgarian consular and diplomatic service on various issues of German, Bulgarian and international commercial law.
