Ulrich is a partner and COO at oikon LAW. Besides the operational management of the law firm, his expertise includes national and international commercial law, labour law, IT law and data protection. During his career, he has been a partner in several international law firms.
Ulrich supports SMEs and subsidiaries of foreign companies in sales and HR matters with regard to legal, tax and economic issues. He is the first point of contact for their managing directors in all business matters, as well as for managers and executives when exiting previous employment relationships and entering new areas of responsibility. IT companies value his expertise in developing and consolidating new markets and integrating them into a matrix structure. With his team of labour lawyers, he supports employers in hiring, administering and dismissing employees, and designing compensation systems. He and his team advise on the design of company pension schemes and on switching to other company pension schemes, in particular on the outsourcing of pension commitments.
He supports companies worldwide in setting up and expanding, creating and coordinating new distribution channels.
In cooperation with DGD Deutsche Gesellschaft für Datenschutz GmbH, he provides companies with data protection services using an integrated, online-based complete solution so that they can concentrate on their core business.
Ulrich studied law in Augsburg, Leeds (UK) and Munich and was admitted to the Munich bar in 1994. He has been a Specialist in Labour Law since 2001, a business mediator since 2009 and a Specialist in International Business Law since 2018. Furthermore, he is an auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 and a certified data protection officer.
He is Past President of the Labour Law Commission, a member of the Governing Board and a Co-President of the ESG Commission at the Union Internationale des Avocats (International Association of Lawyers).
