Biography
Peter Beck is a lawyer and advisor on occupational pension schemes. For 25 years, Peter has advised business owners on the restructuring of occupational pension schemes and the limitation of liability risks in connection with pension commitments, direct insurance policies, pension funds, and pension schemes. He has extensive specialist expertise in avoiding balance sheet risks arising from pension commitments and is the author of numerous academic and practice-oriented publications in the field of occupational pensions, particularly on the lump-sum funded support fund as a distinctive structuring instrument under tax and employment law.
Within the employment law team, Peter supports projects relating to occupational pension compliance, occupational pension due diligence in business transfers and M&A transactions, and the design of occupational pension systems, as well as transitions to other occupational pension models, particularly in connection with the outsourcing of pension commitments.
Education
Peter studied law in Munich and has been working as an advisor in the field of occupational pensions since 1994.
